EXPERIENCE AFRICA 2026 – GENERAL EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTERPRETATION

Event: Experience Africa 2026
Event Dates: Monday 22 – Wednesday 24 June 2026.
Venue: Convene, 155 Bishopsgate, London and external venue(s) used for social networking events, including the ATTA® Sumer Party.
Attendee: any person participating in the Event, including exhibitors, buyers, sponsors, partners, and guests.
EAE: Experience Africa Events Ltd.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT & PARTICIPATION

All attendees agree to:

• Conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and inclusive manner.
• Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour.
• Comply with venue rules, UK law, and EAE’s sustainability and health & safety policies.
• Abstain from bribery, corruption, or any illegal activity.
• Manage alcohol responsibly and avoid any behaviour bringing EAE or ATTA® into disrepute.
• Follow lawful instructions of EAE staff or venue representatives.

Breaches of this code may result in removal from the Event without refund and exclusion from future EAE events. 

3. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Attendance implies consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes. Attendees wishing to opt out must notify EAE in writing before the Event. 

4. DATA PROTECTION

EAE and ATTA® process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR. Data will be used for event administration, communications, and networking facilitation, and may be shared with approved third-party suppliers. Contact: chris@experienceafrica.events.

5. FORCE MAJEURE

EAE shall not be liable for any delay, alteration, or cancellation arising from events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions. EAE will endeavour to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements where practicable.

6. LIABILITY

Attendance is at the attendee’s own risk. EAE is not liable for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by its negligence.

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
