MalaMala was the first privately owned, commercially operated game reserve in South Africa and has been in operation since 1964. It is one of the largest privately owned game reserves in the country and is internationally renowned for offering the finest and most consistent Big 5 game viewing on the continent. MalaMala comprises three luxury camps set on 13200 hectares of pristine game viewing property. It shares a 12 mile unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park and has 13 miles of Sand River frontage, which together contribute to the exceptional wildlife experience.
