Camp Hwange’s legacy is centered around the ultimate guiding experience, which Zimbabwe has become renowned for and for which owner David Carson, a Professional Guide in his own right, has ensured has been the core focus of Camp Hwange since it was established in 2011. This intimate and remote camp is situated in the northern area of Hwange National Park, on it’s own private concession, and has been tactfully built around a waterhole to enhance a distinctly rustic “bush” experience immersed within nature yet with all the comforts one would expect from a classic safari camp.

Each of the 8 large, spacious thatched chalets with en-suite bathroom facilities are enclosed with canvas and gauze sides to offer exceptional views of the open flood plain and waterhole in front of camp. The beds have large mosquito nets and overhead fans to ensure the comfort of guests at night and throughout the warmer months.
